Success Leaves Clues

When you look for the signs of success, you’ll find clues that lead you to where you need to go. In the same way that our brains filter out information that is not important, our brains can also be trained to filter in information that will help us achieve our goals. Everyone defines success a little bit differently, so there will never be a “one size fits all” roadmap to success. If you pay attention, you’ll realize that you have all the tools you need within yourself.

However you define success, it is important to know how you intend to measure it. Success is a continuous journey, and although you are never done pursuing it, you can set milestones that you plan to achieve. With each milestone completed, you may then add on to your goals for the future. Maybe this means you want to hit a certain amount of profits by the end of the year, set a goal for monthly revenue, reach a milestone within your relationship, or accomplish something for your family, etc.

If anyone else has gone on this journey before you and has achieved success, then you know it is possible. Observe someone who you consider to be successful, and you will start to see some of the actions and attitudes that led them to where they are. You can either imitate those clues or you can take them and shape them into something new that will help you achieve your own goals. 

The great thing about success is that anyone can reach it – you just have to know what you are pursuing and then follow through. If you ever feel stuck, remember that success leaves clues. What are some of the clues in your life that you have observed, and how will you implement them?
